Thekkady is situated in the Periyar wild sanctuary – Tiger reserve. It is most popular ecotourism destination in Kerala. The most famous activity is Periyar wild sanctury Boating. Kerala Forest department has a number of adventure tourism activities in Thekkady.Blessed with the roads winding through tranquil countryside, thick jungles and rich plantations, the wonderful place soothes the senses. Munnar is a popular hill-station of Kerala perched at an altitude of 1600 metres in the Western Ghats. It is called as the heaven of Kerala,located in the Idukki district and is the most frequented hill station. Munnar is a quintessential hill station lined with velvety green tea plantation on either side of winding roads. The hill station looks like a manicured garden straight out of a picture book. There are endless reasons to visit Munnar. Famous for its tea estates, various shades of green, blankets of mist and craggy peaks.Munnar serves as the commercial centre for some of the world’s largest tea estates. Besides,it has many protected areas which are home to endemic and highly endangered species like the Nilgiri Thar and the Neelakurinji.Situated on the banks of three rivers- Madupetti, Nallathanni and Periavaru, Munnar is also blessed with natural view-points apart from the tea-plantations.

Day 1: Arrival Cochin – Munnar ( 115 km – 0330hrs)

A warm welcome to GODS OWN COUNTRY- ‘Kerala’. On the arrival at Cochin International Airport, you will be received and drive straight towards the Hill station Munnar. On reaching the destination Check-in the resort and relax. Later set out for traverse the beauty of Munnar- the convergence of three types of mountain streams 1600m above the sea level. The area is famous for its Tea Plantations, book towns, corkscrew towpath and small beautiful waterfalls that makes your eye sight to cure sore minds. After that in the evening it’s the best time to visit Blossom Park, Tea Gardens and enjoy a nature friendly Elephant ride. Rest of the time relax and enjoy the day as leisure. Overnight stay at Munnar.


Day 2: Munnar

In the morning after enjoying your breakfast, get set ready for view fabulous scenery. Let’s move on the Rose Garden, enjoy the beauty of the Mattupetty dam, echo point and Kundala Dam and Eravikulam National park. You can also enjoy a wonderful shopping experience at Spice garden in the evening with a mist atmosphere. Late night stay at Munnar.


Day 3: Munnar – Thekkady ( 98 km – 03 hrs)

Early in the morning after having the breakfast, let’s move towards the tropical evergreen forest at Thekkady.Arrive thekkady and  Settle into your interesting accommodation. As the day is at leisure, you are free to indulge in the activities of your interest. Go on and explore the area on your own sweet will.  You can also enjoy the elephant safari, Kalarippayattu (Martial Arts) & Kathakali. Overnight at Thekkady.


Day 4: Thekkady

Breakfast at the resort .Today enjoy the beauty of dense forest Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary, one of the world’s most fascinating natural wildlife reserves. To set out from all those busy life Periyar is the best place to take a cruise on lake and there after a jungle walk. Thereafter visit the plantations with spices, bird watching and shopping. Late night stay at hotel in Thekkady.


Day 5 : Thekkady – Cochin departure( 140km – 04hrs)

Breakfast at hotel .Morning free for packing & personal activities. In time check out from the hotel and transfer to the Cochin Airport.

Tour ends with sweet memories of  Kerala .
