Day 1: Arrival in Shanghai (Dinner)

Upon arrival in Shanghai, a local guide will meet and escort you to your hotel, which has been recommended by TVH for your comfort. After settling in, enjoy a restful night at the hotel.

Day 2: Shanghai (Breakfast/Dinner)

Start the day by visiting the Jade Buddha Temple, a renowned Buddhist shrine nestled in the heart of Shanghai, home to two beautiful white jade Buddha statues. The sitting Buddha, carved from a single piece of jade, showcases Chinese craftsmanship at its finest. Next, head to Yuyuan Garden, where scenic courtyards, rockeries, pools, and flora are interconnected by corridors. You’ll then visit a silk factory and explore Nanjing Road, known as China’s top shopping street, comparable to Fifth Avenue in New York or the Champs-Elysées in Paris. Continue your journey to the famous Bund waterfront and admire the views of the Oriental Pearl TV Tower, an iconic Shanghai landmark, from Pudong New Area.

Day 3: Shanghai to Qingdao (Breakfast/Dinner)

In the morning, take the bullet train to Qingdao. Upon arrival, a local guide will take you to your hotel. Begin your exploration at Zhanqiao Pier, originally a military harbor, now a popular tourist spot with an octagonal “Huilan Pagoda” at its end, offering breathtaking views of the sea. Then, visit the exterior of the Catholic Church on Zhejiang Road, built in 1934 by Germans, and explore Xiaoyushan Park with its classical Chinese architecture, topped by the “Seeing Waves Tower” that provides panoramic views. Enjoy a restful night at the hotel.

Day 4: Qingdao (Breakfast/Dinner)

After breakfast, visit May Fourth Square, named in honor of the 1919 May Fourth Movement. The square is surrounded by statues, fountains, and beautiful greenery. Next, explore the Qingdao Olympic Sailing Base, where you can admire the stunning coastal scenery. Visit the Qingdao Beer Museum to learn about Qingdao’s rich beer culture. Later, explore Badaguan, an area famed for its exotic villas set among lush gardens, often called a “World Architecture Museum.” The roads are lined with various types of trees, each named after one of the eight great passes of the Great Wall.

Day 5: Qingdao to Beijing (Breakfast/Dinner)

Take a morning bullet train to Beijing. Upon arrival, visit Tian’anmen Square, the largest public square in the world, and be awed by its vastness. Next, tour the Forbidden City, once home to 24 emperors from the Ming and Qing Dynasties, and the world’s largest ancient palace complex. Visit a pearl factory before ending the day.

Day 6: Beijing (Breakfast/Dinner)

In the morning, drive 75km to visit the Jade Factory and the Great Wall at Juyong Pass, an enduring symbol of China’s architectural prowess. Afterward, stop at the Beijing Olympic Park to take photos of the National Stadium (Bird’s Nest) and National Aquatics Center (Water Cube). End your day with a trip to a traditional tea house.

Day 7: Departure from Shanghai (Breakfast)

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport for your final departure.
